What Causes Red or Pink Stains in Toilet Bowl? 

Pink ring-like stains in the toilet bowl are formed due to a bacteria called Serratia Marcescen. 

This bacteria is found naturally in the environment and lives in damp environments. 

And the toilet bowl is a perfect place for it to live. 

How to Fix it? 

The solution to fix these red or pink in the toilet bowl is quite simple. 

First you need to remove these stains and then I will tell you a permanent solution so that it doesn’t happen again. 

Steps to do that: 

Sprinkle baking soda over the stained area. 

With the help of scrub gently rub it. 

Then add 1 cup of white vinegar in the toilet bowl.

And leave the solution for 10-15 minutes and then rinse it off. 

It will be whiter than ever before.

And then to permanently cure the problem.

You have to keep your toilet dry for most of the time so that these bacteria don't get the perfect environment to live in.

For this you can turn on the fan after taking a bath or using the toilet for 10-15 mins so that it stays dry. 

Also regularly flush the toilet for them to not settle down easily.
